DreamWord LLC (“DreamWord,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the DreamWord mobile application (the “App”), which provides biblically grounded dream journaling and interpretation. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the App, you agree to the practices described here.

Information We Collect

We collect the following information to provide the App’s features:

• Account information. Your email address and name when you create an account.
• Dream content. The dream entries, reflections, prayers, notes, and any audio you record and choose to save in the App.
• Subscription and purchase information. Records of your subscription status and in-app purchases, processed through Apple and our payments provider. We do not receive or store your full payment card details.
• Usage information. Basic technical and usage data needed to operate the App reliably, such as device type and app diagnostics.

How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your account.
• To provide dream journaling, interpretation, audio narration, and related features.
• To process subscriptions and purchases.
• To maintain, secure, and improve the App.
• To respond to your support requests.
• To send you newsletters, product news, and occasional offers — only if you have asked us to. You can unsubscribe at any time.

AI Processing of Dream Content

To generate interpretations, images, and narration, the App sends the dream text and related content you submit to third-party artificial intelligence providers, including OpenAI and Anthropic. These providers process your content solely to return the requested result to you. We do not use your dream content to train AI models, and we do not sell your dream content. We encourage you to avoid including sensitive personal details you would not want processed by these services.

How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers that help us operate the App, including:

• AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic) to generate interpretations, images, and narration.
• Infrastructure and database providers that host the App’s backend and store your data securely.
• Payments and subscription providers (including Apple) to process purchases.
• Email providers to send account-related messages such as password resets, and — only if you have opted in — newsletters and updates.

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users and the App.

Marketing Emails

We send marketing emails — newsletters, product news, and occasional offers — only to people who have chosen to receive them. We do not add you to any mailing list without your consent.

You can opt in when you create your account, and you can change your mind at any time:

• In the app, under Settings › Notifications.
• By clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any marketing email.

We will still send essential account and subscription emails — such as password resets, receipts, and notices about your subscription — because these are necessary to operate your account. These are not marketing emails and are not affected by your newsletter preference.

We do not sell or share your email address with advertisers or data brokers.

Data Retention

We retain your account and dream content for as long as your account is active. You may delete individual entries at any time in the App. When you delete your account, we delete your associated personal data, except where we are required to retain certain records by law.

Your Choices and Rights

• You can view, edit, and delete your dream entries within the App.
• You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from the App’s account settings. You may also contact us for help.
• You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple account settings.
• You can opt in to or out of marketing emails at any time in Settings › Notifications, or by using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.

Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
